In Boreal, you'll need to skillfully manage your ressources and place the best cards in your pyramid to cumulate more victory points than your opponent.

Nature has regained possession of what mankind stole from it. Two young explorers set off on an adventure. During their journey they will discover many places and unearth the memories and knowledge of a world that no longer exists. In Boreal, you don't have any cards in your hand; they are shared between you and your opponent on a gameboard in the centre of the table. You'll need to manage the movement of your token underneath this board as best as you can, as it indicates both how many resources you have and which cards you have access to.

Each time you pick a card, you'll also have to think about where to place it in your pyramid to maximise your resources and victory points. Also, the pace of the game is very important. Make sure you don't get too far ahead of the game, because the game ends when one of the two pyramids is complete.
