History of La Revanche
La Revanche opened in January 2014 in Quebec City and was at the time the third board game café/restaurant to open in Canada. The company was founded by three friends (Caroline, Dany and Michel) who left their job to embark on a great journey and live off their passion for board games.
This online store launched in 2018 in order to offer our products, services and expertise to people everywhere in Quebec. Since 2020 our website has been available in English so that anyone can benefit from our unique expertise and our competitive prices, from an ocean to another!
Today, La Revanche is:
- a board game restaurant in Quebec City (along with a brick-and-mortar shop)
- this online shop
- an animation service for schools, festivals, corporate events, etc
Our mission
Our primary mission was to offer a great place where anyone car discover and play many board games, guided by expert game masters. With the expansion of our services, we also pursue this mission to show people new games, advise them, explain games to them wherever they are: online, at work, at school, or at home!
